Day 1 : Guwahati Airport to Shillong
On arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet our representative and drive towards Shillong, the “Scotland of the East.” En route, stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake for a refreshing view. Evening free to explore Shillong’s local markets.

Day 2 : Shillong to Cherrapunji Sightseeing
Welcome to Guwahati! Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, you’ll be transferred to your camp/lodge in Kaziranga. En route, enjoy stunning views of Assam’s lush tea plantations stretching across the landscape. Upon arrival, check in and relax for a while. Later, you can explore nearby tribal villages, where you can interact with the locals and experience their unique culture. Afterward, return to your camp/lodge for an overnight stay amidst nature.
Overnight stay in Cherrapunji
Day 3 : Cherrapunji -Double Decker -Trekking
Early morning, start the adventurous trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat village. The trek takes you through lush green forests, crystal-clear streams, and breathtaking landscapes. Return by evening and overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 4 : Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong /Dawki
Post breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong – Asia’s Cleanest Village. Explore the Living Root Bridge and Sky Viewpoint. Later, visit Dawki to experience the crystal-clear Umngot River where boating is a must-do. Overnight stay in Mawlynnong/Dawki.

Day 5 : Mawlynnong to Kerangsuri & Phe Phe Falls
Today, head towards the mesmerizing Krang Suri Waterfalls and the hidden gem Phe Phe Falls. Enjoy the turquoise waters and serene natural beauty before returning to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Night stay – Shillong
Day 6 : Shillong to Guwahati Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. En route, you may visit attractions like Don Bosco Museum or Ward’s Lake (optional). In Guwahati, enjoy local sightseeing including Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra or a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (optional).
Night stay – Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 7 : Maa Kamakhya Temple and Drop
Early morning visit to the sacred Maa Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peeths. After darshan, proceed to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Meghalaya.

Important Information
• Carry an umbrella and warm clothing, as weather in the region can change suddenly with unexpected rain or drops in temperature.
• Sturdy hiking shoes are strongly recommended for the Nongriat Trek since the pathway is both steep and slippery.
• Entry into certain restricted areas requires valid permits, which must be arranged beforehand.
• A government-approved ID proof is mandatory for every guest at the time of booking and upon arrival. (PAN Card will not be accepted.)
• Please be aware that in hilly terrain, drivers may switch off the vehicle’s AC to maintain engine efficiency.
• Any damage or breakage of property will be charged at actual cost.

By booking a tour package with Travelangles, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. We request you to read them carefully before making any booking.
1. Booking & Payments
• A minimum advance payment of 50% (as specified at the time of booking) is required to confirm your package.
• The balance payment of 50% must be cleared 15 days before the commencement of the tour, unless otherwise agreed.
• Travelangles reserves the right to cancel any booking if full payment is not received within the stipulated time.
2. Pricing & Inclusions
• Package prices are quoted on a per-person basis unless specified.
• Prices include only the services mentioned in the itinerary (transport, hotel, meals, etc.).
• Any additional expenses such as entry tickets, personal expenses, or activities not mentioned in the itinerary are to be borne by the traveler.
• Prices are subject to change in case of sudden fuel hikes, tax revisions, hotel rate changes, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
• Cancellation requests must be made in writing (email/WhatsApp).
• Cancellation charges will apply as per the following policy (unless otherwise stated in the package):

4. Changes & Modifications
• Travelangles reserves the right to modify or cancel the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, road closures, political disturbances, or natural calamities.
• In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made to the best of our ability, but no refunds will be provided for disruptions beyond our control.
5. Traveler’s Responsibility
• Guests must carry valid government ID proof during the trip.
• Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables. Travelangles will not be held liable for loss, theft, or damage.
• Any damages caused to hotel property, vehicles, or equipment by guests must be borne by the traveler.
• Guests are expected to behave responsibly and follow local laws, customs, and safety guidelines.
6. Liability & Disclaimer
• Travelangles acts as a facilitator between travelers and third-party service providers (hotels, transporters, guides, etc.). We are not responsible for any injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to third-party services.
• We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by natural calamities, strikes, government regulations, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Travelers are advised to purchase personal travel insurance for coverage against unforeseen risks.
7. Health & Safety
• It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they are medically fit for the journey.
• Travelangles will not be responsible for any medical issues or expenses incurred during the trip.

• All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Guwahati, Assam, India.

Is the price mentioned per person or for the entire group?
The price is per person, and a minimum of 4 people are required to avail this price. Change in Number of pax can change the cost per person rate.
What type of accommodation will we get?
Accommodation will be provided in neat and clean hotels, homestays, or guest houses, depending on availability. Standard rooms will be provided on double/twin/Quad sharing basis.
What type of cab will be provided?
A sedan cab (like Swift Dzire or similar) with a professional driver will be provided for sightseeing and transfers.
Can this package be customized for fewer than 4 people?
Yes, it can be customized, but the cost per person will be higher if there are fewer than 4 travelers. Or if the number of person increase then the cost will be based on total numbers.
Are entry fees, activities, or personal expenses included?
No, entry fees, activities, meals other than breakfast, and personal expenses are not included.
Do we need to pay extra for fuel, tolls, or driver allowance?
No, fuel, driver allowance, and cab charges are already included in the package.
Can we upgrade the cab to SUV or larger vehicle?
Yes, you can upgrade to an SUV, Innova, or Tempo Traveller with additional charges.
