Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

After arriving at Kathmandu/ Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Spend the morning resting and settling in after your journey. In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through Thamel, exploring local shops and cozy cafés. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner at a local restaurant.

Night stay – Kathmandu (Hotel / Guest House / Homestay)

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu shrines in Nepal, and witness the spiritual rituals along the Bagmati River. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic complex filled with ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards. Return to your hotel in the evening and relax, or take a stroll through Thamel for some light shopping.

Night stay – Kathmandu (Hotel / Guest House / Homestay)

After an early breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park through scenic landscapes of hills and rivers (approx. 5–6 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a welcome drink. In the afternoon, take part in nature activities such as canoeing on the Rapti River or a guided jungle walk. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural program featuring local dance and music.

Night stay – Chitwan (Hotel / Guest House / Homestay)

Begin the day with an early morning jungle safari by jeep or elephant to spot wildlife such as rhinos, deer, and various bird species. After breakfast, visit a Tharu village to learn about local culture and traditions. The afternoon is free for optional activities such as canoeing, bird watching, or another short jungle walk. Spend a relaxing evening enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of your lodge.

Night stay – Chitwan (Hotel / Guest House / Homestay)

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping in Thamel or a brief visit to Patan Durbar Square. Finally, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight.

    Important Information

    • Carry an umbrella and warm clothing, as weather in the region can change suddenly with unexpected rain or drops in temperature.
    • Sturdy hiking shoes are strongly recommended for the Nongriat Trek since the pathway is both steep and slippery.
    • Entry into certain restricted areas requires valid permits, which must be arranged beforehand.
    • A government-approved ID proof is mandatory for every guest at the time of booking and upon arrival. (PAN Card will not be accepted.)
    • Please be aware that in hilly terrain, drivers may switch off the vehicle’s AC to maintain engine efficiency.
    • Any damage or breakage of property will be charged at actual cost.

    By booking a tour package with Travelangles, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. We request you to read them carefully before making any booking.

    1. Booking & Payments

    • All bookings must be made with a valid ID proof.
    • A minimum advance payment of 50% (as specified at the time of booking) is required to confirm your package.
    • The balance payment of 50% must be cleared 15 days before the commencement of the tour, unless otherwise agreed.
    • Travelangles reserves the right to cancel any booking if full payment is not received within the stipulated time.

    2. Pricing & Inclusions

    • Package prices are quoted on a per-person basis unless specified.
    • Prices include only the services mentioned in the itinerary (transport, hotel, meals, etc.).
    • Any additional expenses such as entry tickets, personal expenses, or activities not mentioned in the itinerary are to be borne by the traveler.
    • Prices are subject to change in case of sudden fuel hikes, tax revisions, hotel rate changes, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

    3. Cancellations & Refunds

    • Cancellation requests must be made in writing (email/WhatsApp).
    • Cancellation charges will apply as per the following policy (unless otherwise stated in the package):
    • If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

    4. Changes & Modifications​

    • Travelangles reserves the right to modify or cancel the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, road closures, political disturbances, or natural calamities.
    • In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made to the best of our ability, but no refunds will be provided for disruptions beyond our control.

    5. Traveler’s Responsibility

    • Guests must carry valid government ID proof during the trip.
    • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables. Travelangles will not be held liable for loss, theft, or damage.
    • Any damages caused to hotel property, vehicles, or equipment by guests must be borne by the traveler.
    • Guests are expected to behave responsibly and follow local laws, customs, and safety guidelines.

    6. Liability & Disclaimer

    • Travelangles acts as a facilitator between travelers and third-party service providers (hotels, transporters, guides, etc.). We are not responsible for any injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to third-party services.
    • We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by natural calamities, strikes, government regulations, or circumstances beyond our control.
    • Travelers are advised to purchase personal travel insurance for coverage against unforeseen risks.

    7. Health & Safety

    • It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they are medically fit for the journey.
    • Travelangles will not be responsible for any medical issues or expenses incurred during the trip.

    • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Guwahati, Assam, India.
